Battalion Night - Summer Program
Thursday, June 20, 2013

What a great time we had last night. With the rain pouring down and an empty church building, we chose to play "Capture the Noodle" indoors using the football flags (the ones velcroed to a waste-belt) and foam noodles, and ran around all three floors. The highlight was when Andrew, Jim and Aiden were teamed up against five other guys (Ya, we have a small Battalion). Two of them attacked from the west stairwell and were met with heavy opposition. As they were strategizing at the top of the stairs, a hand reached out of a cupboard and relieved them both of a flag and their lives. There is much more to tell. The night ended with freezies and a great conversation.

Next week, it's Canoe Wars, AirSoft of something indoors. It's Andrew's choice, so it will be fun. Be there! Be prepared.

Iron Sharpens Iron Success

Hi Guys,

A big thank you to all of you who came and helped with the Iron Sharpens Iron event. I was very pleased, as an attendee, to see Battalion 3273 guys helping out with the event. Thanks again for doing it. Please also thank Captain Howard for all the effort he put into the event.

If you weren't able to attend unfortunately you missed a fantastic time. Bill Perkins and Ryan Walter gave really good key note talks.

Thanks again guys,

Lt. Garth

BC Lions game this Saturday

Guys,

While there is no official "Kickoff with the BC Lions", we are still going to a game, if you want to come...

The game is this Saturday, September 15th. We can go as a group meeting at 2:15pm at the church side parking lot, or we can meet down there at 3:00pm. You can get your tickets from me at the north end of the Science World Parking Lot at 3:00pm.

The tickets are $33 each and we will be sitting together in the endzone of the Upper Bowl. We will be with other Brigade Units. Our Battalion will be hanging around with the Grand Forks guys after the game. It ends at 8pm, but we won't have you home until 11:00pm. We will be having a very good time.

The is NO Tailgate Party and no food or pop. You may want to bring $10 for McD's or Costco before or after the game.

I need to hear from you very soon if you want to go, so tell me ASAP.

Man, I'm looking forward to this because we're going to have some FUN!

Bright and Keen for Christ, guys. We can do this.

- Capt. Howard
